Live What You Love!

Realistic & Paranormal Young Adult Fiction

Welcome

Hi there,

I’m glad you’re here to hang out with me.

I write realistic and paranormal young adult fiction in addition to articles for horse magazines.

Check out Asking For It, the second book in my Stewart Falls Cheerleader series on the Upcoming Books page. My heroine thinks she has it made when she’s chosen for varsity cheer, but soon finds out otherwise.

This series will be out in September, 2012 from Black Opal Books.

I live on a ranch in the Cascade foothills of Washington state.  I don’t have any two-legged kids, but I have 36 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and lots of wild critters hanging around. So when I’m not writing a book, I’m riding one of my horses, building fences, mucking stalls or driving my bulldozer.

I call her Frou-Frou, and she is my cure for Writer’s Block. She has a six-way blade and we can clear some serious land on days when the books aren’t going well and my heroine is talking back. She says it’s her story and I need to get over myself. Yeah, right!

Where’s that dozer?

So, take the tour and enjoy the adventure, because life is a journey, not a destination.

Have a “Reading Good Time!”

Shannon
